Notable Changes from the Previous Year

 

Nissan gave this SUV an overhaul for both the interior and exterior. Its front fascia now has a glitzier grille with an all-new bumper and wheels. Inside, higher trims now have larger 12.3-inch displays replacing the 9-inch  and host the new Google-based system.

 

Infotainment and Technology Features

 

An 8-inch colour touchscreen display running NissanConnect is the standard infotainment system. It supports Bluetooth, SiriusXM satellite radio with a 3-month subscription, voice recognition and Android Auto/Apple Carplay. Another 7-inch driver assist display is standard, with access to essential vehicle stats. Higher trims have larger 12.3-inch displays for both infotainment and gauges.

 

Exterior Design

 

The front fascia has the newer V-motion grille complemented by LED headlights with LED daytime running lights and U-shaped bodyside highlights. Available features include a motion-activated liftgate and power moonroof. Standard wheels are 17-inch aluminum alloys with an option for larger 18- and 19-inch.

 

Interior Comfort and Cargo Space

 

Rogue ensures a premium ride for the five passengers inside the car thanks to its spacious and feature-filled interior. Standard features include a six-way manual driver’s seat with lumbar support, heated front seats and steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control and cup holders. The cargo area can hold 1,033 litres and 2,098 litres when the second row is down.

 

Performance Features

 

The standard engine is a 1.5-litre DOHC 12-valve Variable Compression Turbo (VC-Turbo) three-cylinder engine. Coupled with a continuous variable valve timing control system (CVTCS), it provides 201 horsepower at 5,600 rpm and 225 lb-ft of torque at 4,000 rpm with a towing capacity of 1500 lbs. Its fuel efficiency is city/combined/highway 8.4/6.7/7.6 L/100 KM.

 

Safety and Driver Assistance Features

 

With Rogue standard Nissan Safety Shield 360, the car can sport trouble ahead of time and help you steer clear. Intelligent emergency braking with pedestrian detection provides alerts when getting too close to an object and can bring the car to a stop.
