Car Maintenance & Service Checklist
Nissan models from 2014 or newer will require a specific standard maintenance schedule to continue serving you reliably. Although the recommended services can vary between models, you should visit or contact us at Pembroke Nissan to be fully aware of your Nissan's maintenance needs. We can't wait to hear from you and will gladly support your Nissan ownership experience with our outstanding services.
8,000 Kilometres or 6 Months
Every 8,000 kilometres or six months, you will want to bring your Nissan into a shop for an engine oil and filter change, rotate the tires, check and top off tire pressures, and a general inspection. The inspection will cover axles, suspension parts, braking components, driveshaft boots, exhaust, front ball joints, steering components, and more. Nissan recommends the tire rotation service for all models except for the Nissan 370z.
16,000 Kilometres or 12 Months
Every 16,000 kilometres or 12 months, your Nissan will get the same services as the 8,000-kilometre service, but its inspection will involve other components and systems too. Some items that need to be inspected include the automatic transmission, brake lines and cables, CVT fluid, differential oil, manual transmission fluid, and transfer case fluid.
24,000 Kilometres or 18 Months
At 24,000 kilometres or 18 months, your Nissan will need the same services as mentioned before, along with an in-cabin filter replacement, key fob key replacement, and a thorough inspection of various items.
