Performance Specs
All Maxima trims share the same 3.5-litre 24-valve DOHC V6 engine, with 300 horsepower and cargo capacity of up to 404 L. They also have an Xtronic Continuously Variable Transmission, an adaptive shift controller, and dynamic step shifting. The Maxima is also pretty fuel efficient, getting 11.6 L / 100 km in the city and 7.9 L / 100 km on highways. Two drive modes are available, Normal and Sport, which you can trigger with just a click. The monotube shocks equipped with the multi-link rear suspension make driving much more comfortable.
Design Elements
The exterior design considered the vehicle’s aerodynamics, resulting in more efficiency and a stunning look. The interior design is just as seductive, with four different colours for the fabrics. The flagship model has a memory system to store your driver’s seat and steering wheel setup. The front seats’ design was inspired by zero-gravity space travel, which makes them incredibly comfortable and leads to less fatigue during long journeys. There’s an intelligent temperature control equipped into the key fob, a standard feature for the entire lineup.
Technology
The 8-inch touchscreen display informs you about traffic conditions, weather alerts, and even the best restaurants in your area. The infotainment system is compatible with Apple CarPlay, so you can use your Apple device to access the Apple Music Library and make hands-free calls.
Safety Features
There are six safety features available in the Safety Shield 360, which is standard for all models. These include blind spot warning, rear automatic braking, and intelligent emergency braking with pedestrian detectors. The intelligent cruise control allows you to set speed and distance to the first car ahead. There’s also a bird’s-eye camera delivering a 360-degree view of your vehicle, which you can check in the Intelligent Around-View monitor.
